Do I need any special designation for registering a website with either a '.org, .info, .cc, etc'?

Thanks!

What kind of website, what are you going to put on the website?

If you're looking for domain registrar recommendations I would recommend NameCheap.com

wassabe rossman...name cheap is def a cool place to go

I've only had wasabi once, pretty intensive if you ask me.

I'd like to create a website for book reviews. I'd anticipate some money coming in from book vendors like amazon, bn., etc.

Can I use '.info, .org'?

YES you can however there are two issues you need to be aware of:
1) Most domain registrars will charge you MORE to register those fancy schmancy extensions, if it were me I'd stick to .com or .net or .org
2) It's very important that you choose a domain which is EASY EASY EASY to remember, something something obscure.biz or gattacabookreviews.info something EASY EASY EASY to remember. Remember EASY = good (unless you're talking about relationships and sex then it's not so good).

A quick search on NameCheap.com shows that ALL the following domains are currently available in .com .net and .org flavors
bookreviewbiz
buybookreview
bookreviewshop
trybookreview
bookreviewservice
bookreviewcentral
gobookreview
bookreviewhq
