Wasn't sure which forum to put this in so here goes:
When trying to sign up for the Netfirms $10 webhosting deal (in Hot Deals), it asks you to pick a domain name (let's say I picked spiderman.com ). It then tells me that spiderman.com has been taken. Below that is shows a long list of 'substitutes' that I can pick. In that list of substitutes, it lists SpiderMan.com (notice the capitals). I pick it and it allows me to go through the signup process.
Now....the funny thing is, spiderman.com IS taken (when you go to the address, it is a real website). When I type SpiderMan.com (capitals) it goes to the same address (which is the way it is supposed to work).
My question is: Why would Netfirms say that SpiderMan.com is available?
