Just saw a rerun of Pride: Bad to the Bone. In a match between this Japanese and this black guy (I think Silva was his name) has his hands on the Japanese guy's mouth, who was on the ground. Since I don't know what that submission move is, I initially thought it was the Japanese who was getting submitted, but it was actually the black guy taps out and the Japanese guy won. So what is that move called and how does it work?
 
How does that choke work? It looks like Takase is suffocating Silvia with his crotch.

well, Silvia is basically getting choked by his right arm and Takase's right leg. Takase is using his left leg to clamp down his right leg to tighten the hold. So his legs are forming a triangle.
