I've been getting some weird winsock errors at startup that won't let me access my network. If I choose to reistall win 2k over my current win 2k install, will I lose any data??
 
if you install over it, no, you will lose whatever is in c:\winnt .. but your data will be fine .. good luck ..

- you could also install to a different directory .. this is no reason to .. just heads up ..
