Question about Raptor Drives and RAID

Hi guys Have a simple question I have a Raptor X 1500ADFD, and im buying a Raptor 1500ADHD (non Clear cover)

Can i put these two in RAID? I hear there the same drive except one has the "moon roof" and the other doesnt.

yes, u can but if read up on Raid 0 (stripped) you'll soon learn that raid 0 is useless for most users in this forum

I'm getting so tired of RAID-0 for normal uses type questions that I might just start recommending it to people and letting them waste their money. I like the "help my RAID-0 failed how do I get the data back" threads, though.

OP: You can RAID them, should you so desire.

wow u guys are all kinda harsh.

Im going to go hide in the corner with my 4 raptors in raid 0 now and cry.


2 raptors you wont see much of a difference. 4 is a different ballgame.
