Question about RAM

I currently have 2 512 sticks in my mobo(listed below in my sig). If I were to buy another 1gig stick(having 3 sticks total) would it work correctly, or would I have to have 4 sticks or 2 for it to work properly?

So long as you have 3 RAM slots, it should be fine...just be sure the RAM modules are the same speed, and preferably from the same company (though that shouldn't be an issue if they aren't, I don't think).

To get dual channel to work which I'm assuming you have, you most likely need equal sized sticks. On my last motherboard I did not and it supposedly ran at dual channel and in my new motherboard it did not work this way.
