Will PC133 work in a PC100 computer? My friend said that it would, because its backward compatiable or something, but I would like to make sure..

PC133 is just a rating that says "this RAM is capable of going at 133mhz (SDR)". Not really intuitive, but a parallel would be like "Could I drive an Enzo down the road at 30mph?" - Yes, it's more than capable, but why would you want to? 😎
 
As you mentioned it is backward compatible. There is only a small chance it will not like that brand for whatever reason and give you problems but the majority of the times it works fine and I have done it many times.
