I just brought this ram: http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=20-146-895&depa=1">OCZ DDR400</a> and currently in the bios, its timing settings are in auto, but capable of 2-2-3-5 although in my ram itself when it came said 2-3-2-5(sticker on its side) so I'm just leaving it as is until I can verify it with you guys. Also, my mobo is the Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR, yeah, just built this 754 rig, pretty fast so far, although been having problems with XP OS so far, but I'd rather not get into that. So should I set my timings according to the ones stated or leave it at auto?
Also, my bios are stock and the driver I'm using for the Nforce 3 250b mobo is the one that came with the package? should I upgrade, I don't wanna risk stability cause its working mighty fine so far, and my floppy drive isn't working correctly at the moment so no flashing bios for me(is the stock OK for a non OC'er?)
Anyway, thanks for your help, I asked for help at the gamefaqs technical support board but the only reply I got was someone saying "should'nt you be using a 64bit OS for that 64bit processor?"
Also, should I leave hyper transport at 800 or go to 1000? my CPU's temp(64 3000+) is normally at 48C, is that good? I'm using thermaltake Silent boost with Arctic silver 5, maybe I layed it out too thick...
