Hey all, I am thinking of getting the asus z63a (same as W3v except with chease video, and since I don't play games, it's fine by me), and I have a quick question.

If you had to choose between:

1.7ghz
512mb x 2

OR

1.8ghz
512mb x1


what would it be and why.

Thanks a bunch.
 
1.8 & 512MB

The performance difference is minimal between 1.7 & 1.8; thus normally I would say go w/the extra RAM.
But you can spend $45 and add 512MB to the 1.8 system; you can't spend $45 and upgrade to 1.8 on the 1.7 system.
