Im building a system with the Dragon Plus motherboard with onboard RAID. I already bought a 60GB Maxtor drive and was thinking about getting another for RAID 0. Should I do this? Are there any downsides? Im gonna install Windows XP and Linux. Is it compatible with Linux?
 
Raid 0 means lower seek-times, higher datatransfer-rates and an increased risk on losing your data (if one HD dies, all of your data is lost).
