Question about RAID

Finally got my P5B with E6700 CPU to boot.

I have three HDDs: 2x320GB and 1x250GB. I want the 2x320GB to be a RAID0 and the 250GB not to be a RAID and I want the 250GB to be the "C" boot drive.

I have the intel RAID utility working and have the 2x320GB drives set up as a RAID but it won't let me do anything with the 250GB. And there doesn't seem to be any way to tell it to use the 250GB as a "stand alone" drive.

Can someone help?

thnks

I would try disconnecting the RAID drives temporarily. Get Windows installed with just the one drive, and then reconnect the RAID drives. I used to have do that when I used a Highpoint RAID card in my system.

If you jsut do nothing with th 250GB drive, does it show up when trying to do an install? If not, you could try making that single 250gb drive a RAID-0 "array"
