I just want the extra IDE ports... Do I need to install the RAID driver?

The 2 HD's on the UIDE ports aren't showing up in win2k

Again: I don't want to run any type of RAID. I just want the extra plugs 😛

I have the KT7_raid board with the hp370 controller. I've installed the latest driver for the hp370 eventhough I only use it as an ide (nonraid) controller. Works fine.

Yes you will have to install the drivers but you can just set the disks as seperate drives (non-raid) in the raid BIOS.

well 4 one: wouldnt it be better to load the raid drivers during win2k setup?

4 two: its giving me a bluescreen saying something about physical memory when i boot up (i cant really see it.. my comp reboots right after.

and it wont let me boot from a CD

wtf :\
