Can the radeon use its S-Video port for video in, or just the composite port? Tried looking on ati.com, but nowhere does it specifically address this issue.

My S-Vid port works just fine. You just have to remember to enable it in the TV screen (the Icon to the far right, top row - MMC V. 7.1).
