OK, I think I've pretty much decided on a Radeon 32ddr for my new video card. My question is that I have an Abit KA7-100 motherboard and I have read some stuff about the Radeons having problems with the KA7 motherboards. What are the problems and are there fixes? Is this a good choice or would I be better off with a Geforce2 32ddr? Thanks for your comments.

Can I ask what you are mainly going to be doing? ex gaming? If you are a gamer I really suggest you stick with a Geforce2. Look at my thread in here.. We have a similar setup. I am having troubles... But hopefully after i reformat everything will be fine.

I would go with Geforce 2 GTS. It doesn't use its own GART driver like ATI does (ATIGART) which sometimes conflicts with Via's GART drivers. It is also more stable with Via motherboards than ATI's cards are.

GF guys have had their share of troubles with VIA boards as well. 3fdx cards are the only ones I don't see complaints about.

you should have no problem with the via's new 4in1 drivers. if u do have problems, there are fixes for it. so dont worry too much. but i think with new drivers for via it should be ok.

Go Radeon, there is an EASY way to avoid the ATIGART driver and you get very quick gaming and terrific 2D. It's a great card.
