Do I need to use the one that came with card or can I just use a floppy power connector from my power supply?

thanks.

How do I unplug it now? I was cleaning out my PC, so I took everything apart and I couldn't get the PS plug from the card.

You pull it gently from straight on (I recommend trying to pull from the white plug itself rather than the wires to save on wear and tear), parallel to the board just like the floppy terminal. If it won't come off, there could be a devious little bastard of a bent pin or the plug is very fond of the card.

Id say its best to use the one from the power supply since its more of a direct link.

I agree, I set up my graphic cards like that. Of course, If you have enough connectors.

Pulled on wires first, then plug and it didn't off, I don't want to touch, cause I might risk breaking it. I don't need to touch it right now, I'm too happy with my 9700 Pro to care.
