well i notice some people can have 20+ 750gb hds for sale but other people get their thread locked for 20 cd players.. imo the person REselling the hds for profit is the dealer and other person is just trying to get rid of old stuff.. ;/ wondering if it just someones opinion or if there is guideline
 
The rule states buying with the intent for resale here isn't allowed.

Now if you owned those 20 hard drives because you were building new servers and these were the drives you were replacing, we might let it go as a one-time sale with an explanation. We look at these on a case-by-case basis along with the history of the seller. We also use mod input from the other mods on these cases.

If the person actually owned the 20 CD drives himself and was getting rid of them, we probably would allow it. If he acquired it as a surplus from an auction, no, it would not be allowed. It depends on the circumstances and the explanation.
