Has anyone had problems with returns to ZZF?
I ordered a MSI 7900GT from ZZF a while back, then the 7900 GTOs when on sale the day that the 7900GT shipped. I called them and two different CSRs told me that they would refund me the full amount as long as the 7900GT was un-opened.
So, the day that I got the 7900GT I took it to FedEx Kinko's and paid for the return shipping. They put a new shipping label right on top of the old one and away it went. I thought all was good.
However, I recently got my credit card bill and I wasn't refunded the full amount, they still took out a 15% restock fee even after the two CSRs told me that they wouldn't.
Naturally I'm curious, so I call them up. I just got off the phone with them and they said that they received it with the seal broken thus the 15% restock fee. I told the CSR that the box was unopened, told him the story about going to Kinkos the day that I received it, but he didn't really seem to care (big surprise). He told me that I should've taken pictures of the box in an unopened condition, and I guess I should've, but didn't.
At this point it's my word against theirs. I have no way to prove that the box was unopened. Do I just chalk this up to experience?
