Hello:

I am just trying to determine if a intel Pentium 4 3.2 Northwood 800MHz FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket 478 Processor would work with a Socket 478 i845G Revision B1 Motherboard. The southbridge is 82801DB (ICH4).

Currently in the motherboard is a Celeron D 330 which is the Prescott Celeron running @ 2.66GHz with a 533 MHz FSB and a 256K L2 Cache. The BIOS is from 8/18/2004.

The computer is an emachines T2893. Thank you!

Most do not. A very select few might. You're probably going to be limited to either 400MHz or 533Mhz.
