Question about price of altering a shirt

i bought a dress shirt from tjmaxx on clearance the other day, and while i thought it was a short sleeve shirt, it turns out it is indeed a long sleeve shirt. the sleeves are too short, so i figured perhaps i can have it altered to become a short sleeve shirt. anyone have any idea how much this would cost me?

The only advice i can offer probably won't be much help..

I had a 10 inch zipper on a dress replaced for 15 bux at an alteration shop place.

i dont know what tjmaxx's policy is on clearance items... if worse comes to worse, i can try to hack it up myself :light:

these dress shirts were in the folded up packages. the shirt i bought was tossed in the middle of a sea of shirts labelled "short sleeve". after a while of digging, i took for granted that they all had that label... thus i ended up with misplaced long sleeve shirt.
