Question about power supply

Lets see..Your going Conroe on an ASUS board inside a Lian Li case, then seeking the
cheapest possible PSU that might just carry the system. I would only consider a FSP part
numbered Fortron and never an AX but it's your build.

My opinion...The best-bang-for-the-buck 400W PSU ATM is the Enhance ENP-5140GH.
Specs at http://www.enhanceusa.com/ Certed by http://www.80plus.org/
Froogles for $60. It's a damn good unit. Look for a full review in the next couple of days

true dat, the sparkle or fortron fsp400-60thn is a good buy for $55 shipped as well. It's not that the ax400 is bad, it's just not of the HIGHEST quality, and that's important for a psu. The unit galvanized mentioned, any seasonic, and many others would be a worthwhile investment. If you had a windowed case, I'd suggest the enermax liberty...
