Q: If you get a ticket out-of-state with points, do the points get assigned according to your home state's schedule or the state in which you were convicted?

A: Points on out of state tickets are assigned according to the point schedule in your home state, assuming they ever make it back in time for your state's cut-off window.

I don't think you're supposed to get points out of state, just the fine

could be wrong though
