Question about Planet Earth for the Euros

I've been enjoying The discovery channel's version of Planet Earth in HD and am considering purchasing the HD-DVD of PE.

I've read that this version has an English man narrating it, which is fine with me but what I liked about the American version is that it did not contain barely any evolutionary terms... does this version contain the same amount or more or none?

Please don't flame me because I don't share the same beliefs as some of you do. 🙂

Several clips of the original version are floating around on youtube - and from what i've seen, they use almost identical scripts. And the narrator is David Attenborough - probably considered the father of the nature documentary.

i have the first season on my pc narrated by Sir David, i have never seen / heard the American ver so i cant comment.

it would help if you were to find and watch a episode done by him to decide

While she's not bad, I personally would rather the narrator be someone other than Sigourney Weaver. Her voice for some reason just doesn't fit, in my opinion.

Evolution isn't a "belief". And its beauty is evident in every animal and plant shown in this series. I pity you for not recognizing that.

People who want a nature documentary that doesn't mention evolution are killing America slowly. The very idea boggles the minds of educated people.

I don't dislike her voice, I just prefer Attenborough's, it seems made for nature documentaries. So if I were to buy this on DVD I'd get the version narrated by Attenborough with more of a focus on evolution? Or do I have to look for a certain version specifically?

While I agree, it really has no place in this thread. There's about 500 other current threads with well-stoked religion flamefests, aren't they enough?

Thank you for presumming that I am not "educated" because I do not share your views, I'm not going to defend my self to you or anyone on my stance but I do appreciate everyone else for replying. I found some clips on Youtube and the script seems almost identical. Thank you for pointing me in that direction.
