Question about Philips SRU 8015/37 as a windows media center remote control for HTPC

I am new to the realm of HTPC. I just built my first HTPC and installed windows 7 x64 on it, which comes with windows 7 media center.

I was thinking about buying a windows media center remote control and the noticed on my 8015 product packaging (which I haven't opened yet by the way) that it supports PC. I don't know what that means. I googled and cant seem to find any reference to using this remote control as a windows media center remote control for my HTPC.

Can anyone confirm whether the 8015/37 can be use as a windows media center remote control and specifically windows 7 media center?

I guess it would need an IR receiver and I don't see one.

It will need a IR receiver .
I have this remote and it works well and doesn't cost much, comes with receiver and requires no drivers on win7.
