Question about 'performance hybrid' cars...

So, in theory, could you build a hybrid sports sedan that had an 'economy/sport' switch. In economy mode, the electric motor assists the engine with stop & go driving (conventional hybrid), and in performance mode, the electric motor could power a turbine blower for the engine boosting performance? Is this essentially what Honda's planning on doing with their next-gen RL???

The Dualnote. Honda is planning on implementing that design into the new NSX. Or so the rumors say.

Ummm, yea. Why do you ask? Honda doesn't really "own" acura, acura is just another Honda name plate. The two are one in the same.

Anyhow, Honda is considering implementing the Hybrid design into it's next SUV, which is built off of the new upcoming CR-V platform.
