Question About Password protecting webpages

Ok. I run a Free Fantasy Hockey site in the midst of a re-design and I am wondering how like say when people go to the Your Team Page instead of picking their team from a list and then entering a password, as soon as you click Your Team you enter your user name and pass and then your directed to the webpage that matches up with your page.
