I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong (probably I am), but I can screw the fan all the way down with the screws because if I do, it touches the CPU. And because it's not screwed all the way in, the fan is noisy. What can I do to shut it up? Thanks.

That's weird, mine fit perfect. Did your pal6035 come with little metal washers/rings? Well, if it's just a little bit of gap, I'd just file down the screws a bit or find more washers.

You might need to bend out a few of the "pegs" so they
touch the high points of the metal cover, it should sit
say, 1/4" above the pegs. That gap will keep the screws
from hitting the CPU. It also makes the fan a bit quieter.
