My brother has a crusty computer with a amd k62 500 motherboard psa-b super 7 but i have some extra ram from a long time ago--- 256mb rated @ pc133 sdram

can u run pc133 sdram on any computer that takes sdram? b/c i dont remember exactly but from when i used to know alot about those old amd mobos, there was some speed that each mobo was and if the ram was faster than that it ddint work or something like that ....becasue i remember getting this pc133 ram and not being able to return it and having to purchase pc100 ram...or soemthing along these terms,.....can any1 clarify what im talking about ?

as long as it's the same size card (like 184 pin) it should work, will be limited by the slowest component though.

ie, 100 mhs bus speed, 133mhz RAM will only go 100mhz max

Some of the newer PC133 chips have too great a density to be compatible with PC100 chipsets... but if your ram is old PC133 (about the same era as that machine), it should be fine running at PC100 speeds.
