Question about older laser printer + print server + OS X computers

Is this possible? Is this the right print server? If so where do I start?

I have a Mac Pro, Hackintosh, MacBook, and a Macbook Pro all running snow leopard at home
My dad got this laser printer (HP 1100) all I can find is Linux or Windows drivers, plus the printer is parallel.

If I hook the printer up to that print server which is then hooked into my WRT54G2 running dd-wrt do i still need printer drivers installed on the computers?

Here it mentioned using gutenprint drivers set for HP4000

PS Yes those drivers work on OS X even if they say "linux."

Ok so I do need install printer drivers on those computers even with the print server

Yeah. The print server acts kinda like an "Ethernet to parallel converter."
