Hey,

I need some feedback on this setup here:

Athlon XP 1800+
1 x 512 MB Crucial PC2100 DDR
2 x 256 MB Crucial PC2100 DDR

What is the max. I can overclock this CPU to?

I was thinking that my memory is meant for speeds up to (2 x 133 Mhz FSB = 266 Mhz FSB) but could is it possible to push them to 166 Mhz so I could get a total FSB speed of 333 Mhz.

If so, I could try to oc my CPU up to 1.9 Ghz?

Hypo OC from:

11.5 x 133 FSB = 1.53 Ghz (Standard Athlon XP 1800+ Speed)

to:

11.0 x 166 FSB = 1.83 Ghz (Possible?)
11.5 x 166 FSB = 1.90 Ghz (Do I even dare?)

If you folks could give me some feedback, I'd be grateful! Thanks a bunch in advance!

Correct. It depends on cpu stepping.

I used to have the following:

A7N8X Deluxe
AXP 1800+ T-Bred "B" core

The memory is going to hold you back greatly....PC2100 is only rated at a fsb of 133 MHz. Trying to push it higher is going to be difficult. I would invest some money into some high quality memory next. Like some PC3200-4000.

I used to run my AXP at 10x200 (2000 MHz) or 10x190 = (1900 MHz) or I have also run it at 11.5x166 (1916 MHz)

It didn't have a problem with any of those settings. But, that is using some Corsair XMS TwinX PC3200 (2x256 MB).

Good luck with it and let us know how your results turn out.
