Question About O/Cing

Alright I'm new to o/cing, so I want to get something set straight. I have a p4 3.2c, asus p4c800 e del., and a gig of ocz pc3200 ram. I can up the fsb to 225 which gives me a 3.6ghz, but does this really do anything? If I can't up my ram to 450 with the stuff I have, am I really doing anything? I tried this today and just kept the ram at auto and it worked, but when I put the ram at 400, it crashed. So my question is in case you still don't get what I'm asking is, is,hehe, which chaning my cpu's fsb to 225 really be considered o/cing if I leave my ram to auto and will there really be a difference?

You could benchmark your system to find out.

some ram can't be oc'd i guess.. you can just leave it at auto and increase the MHZ of your cpu which is still considered o/cing and there is a difference in performance...
