question about O/C and info upon bootup

Hi all,

I finally had time and tried to o/c my 3000+ venice on a K8N Neo2 MB. When you boot up with the 1.9 bios, does it say the new cpu name if you successfully done it. eg. instead of A64 3000+, it will say for eg. 3200+.

I go in cpu-z and it tells me the new overall speed eg. from 1800 to 2300.

LMK
Thanks.

My 3000+ comes up as a 3000+ all the time, doesn't matter if I have it clocked at 1.8GHz or 2.5.

I am only asking because my old asus A7N8X board, when I o/c my xp2500+ to say 3000+, the bios would recognize it as a xp3000+.

This is my first attempt at o/c on a Neo2 board so I don't know what to expect and if I am doing it correctly.
