The tutorials that install with nView make it seem like it should be so easy to set it up. I'm still having a problem. I don't even know if this is possible, but this is what I want to do: Be able to play a game on one monitor while remaining in the windows environment on another at the same time. Is it possible? If you know how to do it can you help me out? Thanks. BTW, I have an abit siluro geforce 4 ti4400.

whenever you play a 3d game you are going to lose access to windows on any extra monitors

with some dualhead cards, you can still *see* the secondary desktop, but you cannot access it

Thanks for the response. Do you know to set it up so desktop 1 is shown on the 1st monitor and desktop 2 is shown on the second monitor? All I can seem to do is either clone the desktop or extend it across 2 monitors.

well, matrox is the only company i know of that has driver support for separate monitors with separate refresh rates and resolutions (separate desktops)

i'm not sure if the geforce cards have such driver support (for years, most companies only let you stretch the screen...as you have described)

sorry. might wanna make a separate post regarding that question
