Question about notebook and laptop

Can anyone tell me the difference between Notebook and Laptop?

at first I thought notebook is like small laptop while laptop is more than like 6lbs. I guess I am wrong about it.

They are synonyms. Technically, the makers prefer notebook because many people (like myself) have used then for almost 10 years but NEVER on a lap! 🙂

haha, yes they are the same thing, although there is the feeling through alot of people that the notebooks are the SMALLER versions, the ones that have more portability and lighter weight, but the term is used interchangably through all models sizes shapes brands... really doesnt matter

It really doesn't matter. No one will consider you any less stupid or smarter if you use one term or another.

I say notebook because that covers desktop replacements too (laptop doesn't really seem an appropriate term for those).
