Question about non x86/x64 crunching

Some ideas I have been thinking about.. Have any clients been made that could utilize a Linux LPAR on an Z series IBM mainframe? Along with a IBM PowerPC or Sun Sparc based system? It would be interesting to see the kind of power one could get from it.. I've worked in mixed environments with x86/x64 Windows/Linux guys, and then the IBM mainframe guys who swear up and down by the mainframe still.

Here's a link to boinc command line binaries for other OS/architectures along with projects that have clients that support them.
