question about Newegg.com extended warranty

GoingUp

Lifer
I bought a 1 year extended warranty on a motherboard in 2003 from newegg. the usb on the motherboard no longer works properly and I would like to get the board replaced.

i thought the 1 year extended warranty was applicable at the end of the regular manufacturers warranty.

can anyone confirm this for me?

SOL if its past the year.. It is a pure product replacement

EDIT: assuming the TOS have changed.. For low priced items it seems like a quick product replacement that works concurently with the manufacturers warranty to make it easier to replace broken products

the replacement plan in my order doesnt mention service net at all

I called newegg and the replacement is on the way 🙂 The plan that I bought was after the normal manufacturer's warranty.

Bye Bye USB problems! 🙂
