question about newegg and fedex

My package has been shipped and i checked out the tracking number on the fedex site and it sais" Estimated delivery date Jan 7, 2005 by 4:30 pm"

How accurate is this ? im working tomrrow and and the day after so it really would be great if that was accurate ...

From my experience ($$$$ worth of computer stuff) dealing w/ Newegg and its FedEx delivery time, 100% accurate. But as with all things, some people will tell you that's not accurate at all. All I can tell you is you'll get your stuff from newegg no later than Jan 7, guaranteed.

i did get charged tax, 6% but it said the package left from LA

Jan 4, 2005 1:05 pm

Yeah, I read in a review on Newegg that some guy lived in NJ, but his package left from California and he still got it a day before it was due and he was amazed. I read it and was dumbfounded, because I don't see why packages are flying from all over the US that were ordered through a merchant/vendor/whatever that is based in NJ. In other words, ?????

Thats some interesting stuff......In the end as long as i dont have any dead pixels i'll be happy......Im worried about that the most....

I live in upstate NY and almost always get Fedex from newegg on the ETA in the tracking info whether it ships from CA or NJ. But I also know that many get theirs a day early.

I think its more a question of FedEx then NewEgg (assuming NewEgg gets it to FedEx quick, which they have always done in my case).

My last order (As many others have I have spent $$$$ with them, lol) was placed last Tuesday afternoon. FedEx picked it up and had it at their LA location by midnight. The estimated delivery date was the 31st. However it didn't get here then, and up through Saturday (the 1st) the estimated date was still the 31st, lol. On Sunday my expected delivery date just went blank. It did arrive Monday morning (the 3rd). While it wasn't when they estimated thats still pretty great for being New Years weekend in my opinion.

Fedex is usually early, especailly that the holidays are over.
I had a package ship yesterday at 5pm, scheduled for 2 day delivery, and it arrived this morning (1 day). If you won't be there, then put a note on the door. Otherwise, they'll keep the package and you can go pick it up at the office, usually located near your airport.

Yeah, FedEx is usually really accurate in their estimated delivery time. And its not uncommon for them to deliver early. I just wouldn't say that the estimated date is %100 like somebody else did.

IF you forget to leave a not they will leave a note on the door and all you do is fill that out and all future delliveries will be left if you are not there.

I ordered something from Newegg last week on Tuesday (morning I think), shipped from CA warehouse to GA. Estimated delivery was Friday afternoon, I got it on Thursday afternoon. My experience has been FedEx will deliver it on-time or earlier than the estimated delivery date.

Of course with a holiday or bad weather, you might want to add an extra day to the estimated delivery date just to be on the safe side.

You may get your order a day early but it almost always arrive at the time of day mentioned since this is due to the fedex route going through your area at that time frame everyday.

after possibly 100 orders (I don't count) they are one day early 90% of the time, and ALLWAYS at the latest when they estimate. Not one has been late.
