Question about new T-Mobile no-contract plan

I'm considering switching to Tmo from VZ. I'm wondering if, since Tmo's new plan is no-contract, they could decide in a year to stop offering it and therefore change the terms of my service with them?

Has that ever happened before in the cell phone industry?

Not sure about 'terms of service', but in the prepaid world, the plans change quite often. And yes, people do get screwed from time to time, but since it's prepaid all we do is just simply switch carriers.

Not sure if this translates directly to 'no contract postpaid' accounts, but I don't see the reason why they won't change the plans one way or another if nobody is under contract. This is a good issue to discuss, you guys should be aware of this.
