Just got my new Antec P182 in the mail today.

One thing I noticed is that the PCI slot covers have holes in them. Like This

Should I replace them with standard ones? Does it affect airflow? does it get dusty from that?

Also, i have a couple spare 80mm fans and one spare 120mm fan, should i mount any of these? where would be a good place to mount them?

Congrats on your purchase! The P182 is one of the best all-around cases available today, IMO. I have an original P180 that I've modded to a 182 and it's been very good to me.

The P182 cannot take 80mm fans; no place to mount them. The best place to put your spare 120mm fan is in the top chamber, right behind the filter. This will increase the airflow in the main chamber where the MB and videocard are. It will make a big difference.

Keep all the fans on LOW and you'll have a cool and very quiet system.

Don't worry about the PCI covers; they are fine as-is.

What are These Black Holes for?

Those openings are meant for water cooling tubes, up to 1/2" ID. They are useful only if one uses an external radiator, such as a radiator mounted using a Swiftech RadBox.

Open the case. There is a bottom chamber and a top chamber divided by a metal "floor" with the slidey plastic doors. In the top chamber, at the front of the case, in front of the removable HD cage you'll see a black plastic frame. You mount your 120mm fan there, sucking air in from the front.
