Question about my BF2 I purchased in Taiwan

I got a copy of BF2 while I was vactioning in Taiwan(btw I counted and its 800NT=`44 bucks in the US)...well it play on my desktop back in the US?...i sucessfully installed(installation was all in english)it on my Dell Inspiron 5100 that i brought to taiwan for hw use...but didnt load,but thats because my laptop only has 512mb of ram and a ati 7500 32mb

you know why? you need dx8.1 shaders/functions for your video card. So bare minimum = Radeon 8500. btw, I'm sure you can authenticate fine with the EA servers if it is a legit cd key.
Did you know that you need at least 1 gig of ram to make the game run with fewer hiccups?

i was only using my laptop as a test...obviously my lappy wont be able to play it...I'm going to wait tell I return home to CA in 11 days and play it on my gaming rig at home...yeah no worries about the RAM I already have 1GB getting another one soon just for this game

Yep shader model 1.4 is a requirement for it to run.

1GB Dual Channel PC3200(adding another gig soon)

Maxtor 80gig HD
