A friend bought his first PC, a new Dell with 6 months of MSN dial-up in the price. Needless to say, MSN as an ISP just doesn?t cut it so he will change at the end of the 6 months. The only email address he has is the yourname@msn.com. My question is if he changes to another ISP will he be able to access his MSN email account? I keep telling him to get another email ?cause he will lose his MSN email access but is that really true?

TIA

Don

DonaldC, you are correct, once you leave your ISP, you lose that e-mail addy. Some ISP's keep your username reserved for a small period of time, in case you decide to go back to that ISP, but I can't say which ones or for how long. Hope this helps.
