I downloaded a few full MP3 albums from winMX. What is the best way to seperate these large files into seperate song files. I have CDex.

By buying the cd and using ExactAudioCopy to rip them into wav files.

or you could play them in winamp and use the diskwrite output plugin to make a big wav file. Then, using your favorite wav editor, chop the files into proper song wav files. Then you can burn the wav files on a CD. Tada!!!

Some of the songs on WinMX say ALBW (AlbumWrap) which you use a program, obviously called Album Wrap, to open. I think it separates the file into individual songs. Kinda like a big zip file of all the songs with a .mp3 extension that will still play as one long song in an mp3 player.
