I just finished watching the movie Once Upon A Time In America and was curious to know why the character played by Robert DeNiro (Noodles) forced to have sex with the girl he has known since he was younger in the car. (The girl who was going to hollywood and a professional dancer)

I dont get it.

yes in the car he was having his way with her and she was crying.

Because he thought that was the way it worked with women. The only sex he ever had was with prostitutes and a woman who wanted it forcfully. He thought if you wanted a woman, you took her.
