Question about movie ticket sales

I think they should switch to the actual number of tickets sold instead of the amount of money a movie makes because inflation will skew things.

Me too. Every time I go to a movie, prices seem to jump a quarter. Last year the tickets for a normal showing were 8.50, now they are 8.75
