Question about mosquitos

There were couple suggestions given to me. The one that really stood out was to drink lots of unsweetened citrus juice. The little pests don't like high acid levels in the blood and will rarely bite. I haven't tried this one yet. I could use some suggestions because it seems that im their favorate food. If i am in a group camping, i will be the main target for some reason 🙁

Lets hear the suggestions.

How about some repellent (DEET or otherwise)
How about eating and rubbing garlic on your skin?
What about citronelle candles?

They're not attracted to your blood. They don't know what's in it until they bite you. They are attracted by your CO2 emissions from breathing.

So... errmmm... *insert smartass comment here*

Bug spray is another alternative. Off works. Muskoil is another popular type up here. There are some eucalyptus based creams that are less toxic if you're paranoid about deet.

I heard that dryer sheets are a cheap way to ward off mosquitos, I tried it before, maybe just wear long sleeve shirt/pants.

<----- Envy's you for going camping 🙁
