Question about Monitors...

Well, let's just say I don't have the best monitor, cause its really old. To be exact, it's an
EPI Envision En-710e CRT.
According to Everest, my monitor can go to a max resolution of 1280x1024 @ 65 Hz.
Is this true? Or can I go even higher?

That sounds just about right for a normal 17" CRT. Monitors do indeed have upper resolution limits.
