For those who aren't aware, the Apple Macbook recent got a new upgrade to the Santa Rosa platform (800 mhz FSB). I'm considering purchasing a 2.2ghz Core 2 Duo model (2.0 and 2.2ghz offered), and I'm wondering how much of a difference of a performance gain this would be when compared to a 2.16ghz C2D running on the Napa platform (667mhz FSB) of the previous generation of Macbooks. Does the increased FSB bring about a noticeable performance gain? Also, are these any mobile benchmarks for this and does Santa Rosa bring about any other changes? Thanks.
