First off, this may be a stupid question, but so be it, I've gotta know.:)

I just ordered 128MB of Mushkin Rev 1.5 CAS2 RAM last night. I see some people that have their in their signatures things like Apacer 2x128 PC133@143 and 2x128 Mushkin Mosel CAS2 @ 138. Is that measured by how much you overclock the FSB?? If not, what do you adjust? I have a KT7 mobo for those wondering.

I have a KT7 also. This comes up often, so this is copied from my reply to a Similar Thread

You will have to do a combination multiplier/FSB overclock with your RAM set at Host CLK + PCI CLK in the BIOS. For example, I have the multiplier set at 900, the FSB at 105/35 + 4 = 109 . With the RAM at Host CLK + PCI CLK the RAM is at 135MHz + 9 = 144MHz

EDIT:

For the past few days, I dropped my multiplier to 850, set the FSB to 112/37 + 1 = 113 FSB. That gives me 962MHz with the RAM at 150MHz CAS2 Turbo. ( 137MHz + 13 = 150MHz Host CLK + PCI CLK ) It has been stable running the Prime95 Torture test the last few days without crashing, with all of the programs that I run & web surfing.
