Question about memory / FSB speed

I've been out of the hardware loop for a few years now so my skills are a bit rusty. I want to build a new system around a Duo E6600 and EVGA mobo. The CPU FSB is 1066Mhz. However, reading about the mobo on EVGA's site, that is not a supported memory speed. So what memory should I go with? 800MHz? 1200Mhz?

Thanks.

Intel 'quad-pumps' their FSB (at least I believe the C2D systems still do this), so the 'real' speed is 1066/4, or 266Mhz. DDR/DDR2 RAM is normally rated by its 'doubled' speed, so RAM that runs at 266Mhz is often referred to as DDR2-533 (since its effective speed is 533Mhz).

This CPU should use DDR2-533 (PC2-4200). Faster RAM will work, but will run at the lower speed unless you overclock the memory controller/FSB.
