I'm going to be transferring to university next year. I'll be getting my bachelor's degree and will need somewhere around $40,000.

I have no idea how to do this. Should I go to my bank? I have a credit rating higher than 800, so I don't think it should be a huge problem. When should I be applying for the loans? If I continue to graduate school, do I have to start paying them back then?

Where do I start?

Any personal stories or websites that you could share would be great.
