Hi all,

I have an LCD monitor Samsung 930B spend around 420$ - 70$ rebate .

Its specs say it has 160/160V angle of viewing. Now i when open google, and during my standing position when i watch googles site, it appears completley as Light blue colored instead of pure white or almost white.... can it be that it has got some problem with its display....... its totally wierd.

The google page appears white when i watch it from any Horizontal angle but Vertical angle is horrible, i dont think this monitor has even 90degree view from its spec saying 160. Can it be my monitor problem

Well i hv IBM LP190 monitor at my worrkplace, and it has a very good vertical angle and horizontal angle. But it has 25ms response time compared to 930B's 8ms response.

Will it be good idea to replace my monitor with the same one........ if problem persist or is it Samsung monitors hv those wied Vertical angle viewing problems

Thanks for ur upcoming advices.

why are you standing? the vertical angle is worse than the horizontal on any monitor...the 160 degree spec is the horizontal viewing angle

Agree with what mariok said. I have the 930B as well, and what you're describing is what I experience too. The horizontal viewing angles are fine, but the vertical angles are not good at all. From what I understand, this is par for the course.
